So I had the most brilliant weekend, on Saturday I stayed at home and watch t.v because it was not day for going outside and then on Sunday I went to the British Touring Cars at Knockhill.

Knockhill was brilliant this year because we managed to get corporate tickets which meant that I was able to get a seat (Knockhill is a track that does not have any grandstands) so my joints are not as sore as they would have been plus it stayed dry apart from one shower of rain. Unfortunately it wasn’t the best of races for the team I support, Honda Yuasa Racing.

Today I am grateful for…
  • Being able to drink
  • Having a good day
  • Not feeling depressed
  • My joints not being to painful

So today was a bad day unfortunately, I went to the dentist this afternoon to get my broken tooth fixed but got told the rest of my teeth are in a very bad way. I knew they weren’t in good condition but I had put that down to all the medication and malnutrition but it turns out it wasn’t, they are in bad condition because of what I have been drinking. I have been drinking juice that contains sugar because it is the only way that I can get I can get extra calories into my diet. I feel that I can’t do anything right at the moment I had been drinking the juice to help with my weight but now I have ruined my teeth and will have to have a lot of dental work done.

Today I am grateful for….
  • Being able to drink
  • Being able to eat 3 packets of Wotisits
  • Having a Crohn’s free day

So today was the first day of trying to cut back on my sugar intake. I decided today that I will try drinking sugar free juice for a week and if my weight stays okay I will continue with the sugar free drinks but if my weight starts to drop to much I will have no option but start drinking them again.

So I cooked for the first time in along time today. I love cooking but it is really hard to cook for other people when you are unable to eat but I managed to cook Lime & Pepper Chicken wraps without getting angry about not being able to eat it.

Today I am grateful for…
  • Having a good day
  • Having a Crohn’s free day
  • Being able to find the strength to cook a meal for everyone
  • Being able to drink
  • Being able to eat Wotsits (a type of snack)

31st August 2012

So this week has been one of my better weeks, my depression has been better, I have managed to go out of the house twice and I have also cooked twice for everybody this week despite not being able to eat.

Unfortunately today I have not been able to eat any Wotsits or Skips :-( but I had a good run, hopefully it won’t be to long until I am able to eat them again. On positive note though I am still able to drink.

Today I am grateful for…
  • Having a good day
  • Being able to drink
  • Finding the strength to cook for everybody
  • Having a Crohn’s free day
