Little Updates: June 2012
Hi everyone, I hope you are all having a great day. Seeing as it is nearly the end of June I thought I would do my Little Updates post a few days early.
This month has been an up and down mood wise I was happy at the beginning of the month because I had just had an oesophageal stricture dilated and I was able to eat and drink but as the month went past my oesopheal stricture came back and now I am unable to eat and sometimes I am unable to drink.
So yesterday I went to my hospital appointment and saw the IBD nurse because there was no consulants at the clinic. I explained to her why I didn't want they Humria injections and she completely understood were I was coming from, so I am hoping that I have managed to persuaded them to give me 6-mercaptopurine instead.
So today I got a phone call from from the IBD nurse and she said my consultant is happy for me start 6-MP (6-mercaptopurine).
