How to go purple for World IBD Day
Hello fellow warriors, how are you all doing? With a week to go until World IBD Day I thought I would give you some last minute ideas on how you can contribute to making the world purple this IBD Day. Also apologies if things aren't quite right with the blog post I am having had a bad pain day so I am a bit loopy loo from the meds.
1) CLOTHING: Wearing a purple item of clothing is probably the easiest and cheapest way to contribute to making the world purple this IBD Day, so raid that closet of yours and see if you can find anything purple.
2) JEWELLERY: World IBD Day is the day that you should most certainly wear the Crohn's and Colitis charity jewellery that you have bought but if you don't have any awareness jewellery then that's okay just wear something purple like a purple bracelet or a pair of purple earrings.
3) MAKEUP: This one isn't really for the guys, unless your a guy who likes to wear makeup. I know that neutral makeup is the typical makeup is for women but why not experiment with some purple, a purple eyeshadow, a purple nail polish or a purple lipstick this World IBD Day. A lot of drugstores sell purple makeup so you will not have to spend lots of money.
4) WIG: This one is probably not for the faint hearted but why not wear a purple wig, it is guaranteed way for getting people to ask why you are wearing it and then you can tell them all about Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
5) PETS: Your pets can even get involved with going purple why not buy them or a purple collar or dress them in a purple pet outfit.
So that all of my tips on how you can go purple and don't forgot if you or your pets do wear purple then take a photograph and upload it to social media and use the hashtags #WorldIBDDay and #gopurple.
